Your help has allowed us make our program in Laos one of the largest programs globally. Given its connection to the U.S. and its tragic history, we do accept targeted donations specifically for Laos and can work with you to give individually or plan a fundraiser.
What can MAG Laos do with my donation?
- Purchase one brush cutter for a UXO Clearance Team = $1,000
- Provide a GPS to a CL team for mapping and planning activities = $200
- Deploy one roving EOD team for a month = $11,000

"Integrated UXO and Development: LAO PDR."

The primary goal for this project is to increase and restore access to safe land for primary development activities and to protect the victims of remnants of conflict in Xieng Khouang and Khammouane Provinces Lao P.D.R. MAG will deploy 5 Community Liaison (CL) teams and five clearance teams. 130 village surveys and 670 beneficiary surveys will be conducted. UXO (Unexploded Ordnance) will be cleared from 4,900,000m2 of land to benefit development actions. The projected number of beneficiaries is over 357,000 individuals in the targeted areas.
