This year, MAG America is running a campaign to raise $100,000 to support MAG’s work in Angola. |

MAG has been working in Angola since 1994, deploying Mine Action Teams to address the incredible need for clearance. At the end of 2011, the Landmine and Cluster Munition Monitor reported that 142,000,000 m2 of land needed to be cleared in Moxico Province, the most heavily mined province in Angola, and where MAG works. Even though the need is overwhelming, support for this country has fallen short since the civil war ended, as new priorities for donors become more critical across sub-Saharan Africa. |
